Seeds of Turmoil: Booksneeze Review

Seeds of Turmoil
Bryant Wright

Seeds of Turmoil could have been titled “The Middle East Conflict...for Dummies”. Wright relates the present day problems in the middle east to Biblical events, namely Abraham and his lineages. In great detail Wright clearly describes Biblical stories from the Old Testament in a way that is easy to read and understand. Through the choices of one man, God shaped the course of history forever. In addition to slowly unfolding the story of Abraham and his family, Wright also gives basic insight into Judaism, Islam, and Christianity and their origins and beliefs.

I learned so much from this book, mainly because I do not love history or know much about it. Had I much background information on Old Testament history, this book would have been boring and reiterative. However, I highly recommend this for beginners curious about the conflict in the middle east and how it relates to God's will. You won't be disappointed.
